Eligibility and Entry:
Prize draws are exclusive to New World Hastings.
Entries must comply with these terms and conditions to be valid.
The prize will be drawn on Monday 18th May 2026, with a police presence.

Prize Collection:
The Grocery Grab will occur at 6:45 am (must arrive at 6.30am) on Wednesday 20th May 2026, at Hastings City New World.
The winner will meet the owners of New World Hastings and staff at the café for a debrief prior to the Grocery Grab.
Publicity:
Winner will be announced on our social media channels
Winners agree to their names being published and to being photographed and/or videoed by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hawkes Bay and New World Hastings.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hawkes Bay and New World Hastings may use winners’ names, photographs, videos, and/or interviews for publicity purposes, including on social media.
Grocery Grab Rules:
The Grocery Grab is for 90 seconds.
There is a Grabber (collecting the items) and a Pusher (pushing the trolley)
The Grabber must collect at least two items from each of the following categories: Fresh Meat, Fresh Vegetable, Fresh Bakery Product, and Frozen product.
A limit of no more than two identical products of the same type and brand applies (e.g., no more than two Sprite 24 packs or two lamb leg roasts)
Alcohol, lotto, instant kiwi, electric toothbrushes, razors and razor blades and tobacco products are excluded. Speciality cheese from the Service Deli cheese bar is also excluded.
The Grabber may not strong-arm items; all items must be picked.
The Pusher cannot assist the Grabber in selecting items.
The Start line is at the entrance to the Produce department.
The Grabber or Pusher cannot open or reach into any cabinets not usually accessible to the public.
The Grabber or Pusher cannot access any areas of the store not usually accessible to the public.
Extra trolleys will be placed at the end of the aisles for the Grabber and Pusher to use as required.
Payment and Redemption:
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
Liability:
By entering this draw, participants agree to filming and photographs being taken and used for promotional purposes by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hawkes Bay and New World Hastings.
